Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 June 2026
BrisbaneBathrooms (“we”, “us”) operates brisbanebathroomshq.com.au. We are a referral and matching service — not a renovator or trade contractor. This policy explains what information we collect when you request a quote for bathroom renovation in Brisbane, how we use it, and your choices. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you submit a quote request we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email address, phone number, postcode, property details, and project requirements. We also collect standard analytics data (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type) to understand how the site is used and improve it. Providing your details is voluntary, but without them we cannot match you with providers or pass your request on.
How we use it
- To match your request with vetted local trade businesses who can quote on your project.
- To contact you about your enquiry.
- To measure and improve our marketing and website performance.
Who we share it with
When you submit a request and tick the consent box, we share your enquiry and contact details with up to two matched local trade businesses so they can contact you with quotes. Those businesses may pay us a fee for the introduction. We only share your details with your consent, and only with businesses matched to your project and area. We also use service providers (such as analytics and email delivery) who process data on our behalf.
You can withdraw your consent or ask us to delete your details at any time by contacting us (see below) — though businesses we have already introduced you to will keep any details you shared directly with them.
Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies (including Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta) to measure traffic and the effectiveness of our advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
How we store and protect it
Enquiries are stored in secured, access-controlled systems. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, and we retain enquiry data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet our legal obligations.
Overseas storage
Some of our service providers (for example analytics, hosting, and email delivery) store data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you can withdraw your consent to sharing at any time, by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first (details below) and we will investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
